Proverbs 23

4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

12 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.

17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.

19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.

20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:

21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Heed the warning

           Guide thy heart

Keep thy head about thee

          Think not one above another

Admire not the grass that looks greener

Keep thy eyes on your own path

watch where your feet take you

           Watch whose hand you hold

            Be sure you stray not

Make sure you stay in line

For we walk a narrow way

          with steep sides

Let us stick to the path

          so that we slip not

If though

If thou find that thou hast slipped

          Fear not

For all you have to do

Is to look back toward the Father

Repent, and turn back toward him

          Draw nigh unto Him

so that He will draw nigh unto you

Luke 15:3-7

3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
