Let us work diligently with our hands

             even at tasks we may not prefer

Scoff not at what the Lord would have you do 


What feels like nothing to you

May be everything to Him

         Never underestimate your actions

         Never underestimate your thoughts

         Never underestimate the state of your heart


Be joyful in all that you do

          even when it’s the last thing you want to do


Take comfort in the fact that what you’re doing

         May very well please Him

         May very well serve His purpose


And try to be sure to do it all with a cheerful heart

For God loveth a cheerful giver

          Givers of property

           Givers of food

           Givers of time

          Givers of advice

          Givers of hospitality

          Givers of comfort

          Givers of truth
